Note by the Secretariat*

In its resolution 16/22 and decision 17/119, the Human Rights Council requested the

Secretariat to provide an annual written update on the operations of the Voluntary Fund for

participation in the universal periodic review and the resources available to it. Although the

report was forecast for the nineteenth session, it was not been submitted owing to technical

reasons. The report will be submitted to the Council at a future session.
