The Human Rights Council,
Recalling Commission on Human Rights resolution 2005/48 of 19 April 2005,
Calls upon States, intergovernmental bodies and concerned international organizations to continue to respond to the assistance and protection needs of forcibly displaced populations, to intensify their cooperation to address human rights situations that can lead to mass exoduses, to promote comprehensive approaches involving all relevant stakeholders, to identify durable solutions for refugees and internally displaced persons and to prevent new flows of refugees and internally displaced persons from becoming protracted.
