Note by the secretariat
1. The secretariat informs the Human Rights Council by the present note that the
second session of the open-ended intergovernmental working group to consider the
possibility of elaborating an international regulatory framework on the regulation,
monitoring and oversight of the activities of private military and security companies has
been postponed to 13 to 17 August 2012.
2. Given the change of dates, the working group will submit the report on its second
session to the Human Rights Council at its twenty-second session.
