Note by the Secretariat

The Secretariat hereby informs the Human Rights Council that an oral statement will

be made by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to the Council at its

twenty-second session, pursuant to paragraph 9 of Council resolution 19/39, inviting the

Office of the High Commissioner to report on its technical assistance, capacity-building and

cooperation. The statement will be based on information provided by the human rights

component of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya and is scheduled to be

presented under agenda item 10.
