Note by the Secretariat*

In its resolution 23/26, the Human Rights Council invited the Special Rapporteur on

the human rights of internally displaced persons to present to the Council, at its twenty-

fourth session, his report to the General Assembly on the very dire situation of internally

displaced persons in the Syrian Arab Republic, in accordance with Assembly resolution

67/262. In that regard, the Secretariat has the honour to refer the Council to the report of the

Special Rapporteur submitted to the General Assembly (A/67/931).
