Note by the Secretariat

The Human Rights Council, which was due to appoint a number of new special procedures mandate holders at its twenty-fifth session, decided to postpone the appointments until 8 May 2014. The twenty-first annual meeting of special rapporteurs, independent experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures was accordingly postponed, and is now scheduled to be held from 29 September to 3 October

2014. The report on the meeting will therefore be submitted to the Council at its twenty- eighth session.
