Note by the Secretariat
1. In its resolution 27/30, the Human Rights Council requested the Advisory
Committee to prepare a research-based report on the activities of vulture funds and the
impact on human rights, and to present a progress report thereon to the Council at its thirty-
first session.
2. At its fifteenth session, in August 2015, the Advisory Committee decided to
recommend that the Human Rights Council extend the time schedule envisaged in order to
allow for better informed work, and that it request the Committee to submit a progress
report to the Council at its thirty-third session.
3. The above-mentioned progress report of the Advisory Committee will accordingly
be submitted to the Human Rights Council at its thirty-third session.
