Note by the Secretariat

1. In its resolution 30/24, the Human Rights Council requested the Office of the United

Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize, prior to the thirty-second

session of the Council, an expert workshop to discuss effective, inclusive and participatory

mechanisms and methodologies to mainstream human rights in the formulation and

implementation of public policies and to prepare a summary report on the workshop for

submission to the Council at its thirty-third session.

2. In consultation with the sponsors of the above-mentioned resolution, the workshop

has been postponed. It is expected to take place prior to the thirty-third session of the

Human Rights Council and the report will be submitted to the Council at its thirty-fourth

session.
