The nineteenth preambular paragraph should read

Deeply concerned that there are continuing violations of the realization of the sexual

and reproductive health and reproductive rights as set out in the Programme of Action of

the International Conference on Population and Development, the Beijing Platform of

Action and the outcome of their review conferences, and that they have a negative impact

on rates of maternal mortality and morbidity, and that the full enjoyment of the above-

mentioned rights remains a distant goal for many women and girls throughout the world,
