Report of the Secretary-General on the safety of journalists and the issue of impunity
Note by the Secretariat
In its resolution 70/162, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to
report to the Assembly at its seventy-second session and to the Human Rights Council at its
thirty-seventh session on the implementation of that resolution. In that regard, the
Secretariat has the honour to refer the Council to the report of the Secretary-General
submitted to the Assembly (A/72/290).
