Report of the Human Rights Council Advisory Committee on the activities of vulture funds and their impact on human rights
Note by the Secretariat
1. In its resolution 34/3, the Human Rights Council took note with appreciation of the
progress report of the Advisory Committee on the activities of vulture funds and their
impact on human rights,1 and requested the Committee to present a final report thereon to
the Council at its thirty-ninth session for its consideration.
2. At its twentieth session, in February 2018, the Advisory Committee decided to
recommend that the Human Rights Council extend the time scheduled in order to allow for
better-informed work, and that it request the Advisory Committee to submit its final report
to the Council at its forty-first session.
3. The above-mentioned report of the Advisory Committee will accordingly be
submitted to the Human Rights Council at its forty-first session.
