Note by the Secretariat

The Human Rights Council, in its decision 2/102 of 6 October 2006, requested the Secretary-General and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to “continue with the fulfilment of their activities, in accordance with all previous decisions adopted by the Commission on Human Rights and to update the relevant reports and studies”.

With a view to facilitating access to the relevant information on the status of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment; the Convention on the Rights of the Child; the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families; and the International Covenants on Human Rights, the Secretariat has the honour to inform the Human Rights Council that this information is available on the website of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (www.ohchr.org), and is regularly updated.
