Decision 2/111. Human rights and arbitrary deprivation of nationality
The Human Rights Council, recalling resolution 2005/45 of 19 April 2005 of the
Commission on Human Rights and taking note of the report of the Secretary-General on human rights and arbitrary deprivation of nationality (E/CN.4/2006/88), decides to call upon its relevant mechanisms as well as appropriate United Nations treaty bodies to continue to collect information on the question of human rights and arbitrary deprivation of nationality from all relevant sources and to take account of such information, together with any recommendations thereon, in their reports and activities conducted within their respective mandates and encourages the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to do the same. The Council also decided to request the Secretary-General to collect information on the question of human rights and arbitrary deprivation of nationality from all relevant sources and to make this information available to the Council at its fifth session.
