Resolution 6/8. Human rights and equitable access to safe drinking water and sanitation
The Human Rights Council,
Recalling its decision 2/104 of 27 November 2006,
Taking note of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for
Human Rights on the scope and content of relevant human rights obligations related
to equitable access to safe drinking water and sanitation under international human
rights instruments (A/HRC/6/3),
Mindful that the report requires thorough consideration by States and other
relevant stakeholders,
1. Calls upon all States to give due attention to the report of the High
Commissioner;
2. Decides to consider the issue at its seventh session.
